The Speedrunner save/loads it for the best run through a particular area but that said, 30 minutes for Fallout 3 is pretty damn good. I think I spent more than 30 minutes in the vault alone.

I still haven't beaten this game, and I'm pretty sure I'm at least 20 hours in. It seems insane that they could finish the game that quickly!

Yeah, the runner uses a few glitches. One where he uses a vault suit to get over the Citadel wall early on to open the Vault to get the G.E.C.K. and then later on he uses frag grenades to get the final boss guy out of the room earlier than normal.

Pretty awesome run actually, fun to watch. He just runs around bad guys, and takes little damage. He beefed his Luck and a few times picked locks VERY quickly on hard doors. Also took practically no RAD damage due to his high allotment of medical.

I just watched it through and that's insane. The game took me just over 100 hours, though that's with most (pretty much all, I think) of the (non-DLC) side quests and of course no exploits. Obviously, I was not in any hurry.

Yeah that was about my playthrough time too.
