If you weren't paying attention you may not have known that the Witcher 3 won nearly every video game award in 2015. The game won so many awards that I heard the Witcher 3 traveled back in time to 1998 and punched Ocarina of Time in the face. PC Gamer must have heard about Witcher 3's time traveling ways because they recently just put it at the top of their 100 best games of all time list. I think putting a game that's only been out a year on top of your best games of all time list is a bit strange but Witcher 3 is very popular so I bet it made a few people happy. All that said, I haven't played the Witcher 3 yet but I always planned to after it and all it's DLC was wrapped up into one product and that day has finally come.

So Much Game, So Much DLC.

The Witcher 3 Game of the Year Edition is finally out on GOG, Steam, PS4 and XBone and contains Hearts of Stone, Blood and Wine + 16 DLC's. That's a ton of stuff and you can get even more with it if you buy it on GOG. If you pick up Witcher 3 on GOG you get even more insanity including 3 soundtracks, comic books, manuals and videos. I'd list it all out here but GOG recently changed the page and it doesn't list out everything that the bundle comes with.

If you were interested in playing Witcher 3 now seems like a great time to pick it up!

That's what i've heard. Planning on picking it up closer to the end of the year as I'll have more time to play something like the Witcher 3 then. It's such a big game and I want to have more time to experience it all.

Yeah, there's a lot of DLC for it and I think it's all good. I've only played it through once, including all the DLC, and Steam says I've clocked 212 hours.

There's also an in-game card game called Gwent that is coming as a stand alone game soon. I've signed up to be a beta tester, we'll see if that gets approved. Here's the link:

I signed up for Gwent beta a while ago too. As a fan of CCG's I am really looking forward to seeing what the Gwent game has to offer. Do you think a standalone Gwent game would be something you'd play?

Yeah, I really enjoyed it in-game, so I'm definitely looking forward to the stand alone game. I just hope it's more single player focused than Hearthstone and Faeria. Yeah it is a CCG, but it's also not very much like those other two games. Oh and I also found every Gwent card in the game. I think I also defeated every opponent. :)

Cool. Can't wait to try both versions!

It's confusing at first, but you'll get the hang of it and I'm sure you'll be successful. I probably should mention that I did play the game on an easy difficult level. I was more into the story than getting my ass kicked by enemies, some were still difficult though, especially at lower levels. The story was really awesome though! I cared a lot about the characters and I liked seeing other characters that appeared in the first two games of the series. You can make choices about what actions to take, which can change things. I really love it and I'm glad one of my local friends recommended it to me. The first two games in the series weren't nearly as good as the third.

I think I picked up an earlier title, but never played it. Sadly, my time I can devote to a large story rpg has dwindled. Playing hearthstone, and CSGO, and rocket league is easy. Match by match, no future commitment.

That said, I did pre-order FFXV, and this witcher 3 looks great, so I may have to try it.

@JaBo let me know how FFXV is. I haven't pre-ordered it nor do I have a PS4. I'm not sure when or if I'll get one, but that is one of the few reasons for me to have one.

Will do. They recently pushed back the Sept. release to November, which is great for me. Because my semester will be close to over. by time it comes out. It looks a little more promising than the last few titles.
