A year ago I posted a video of Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time Speedrunner Cosmo beating the game in 22:38. He recently set the world record again with an absolutely stunning speedrun of 18:10. As he completes the run he talks about the people that worked with him to make it possible.

If you want to head back and watch Cosmos 22 minute run:

I honestly can't think of a better follow up to the spirit of Ocarina of Time than a 2D version and this fan game looks really great.

"OoT 2D is a 2D remake of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time that is styled like ALttP. It has been attempted many times and by many different authors, the first attempt of which was over a decade ago!

This embodiment of OoT 2D will use no already-existing engine and no utilities such as Game Maker. While building it from scratch is slow and old-fashioned, this method of programming will grant full control over everything, resulting in a high-quality product! We hope you all like it!

"Think About It, how much would a rupee from the Legend of Zelda be worth in real life?"

YouTube sensation Dylan Dubeau answers the question "How much are Zelda Rupees worth" in a really interesting way. He figures out how much they are worth by comparing Zelda items to items for sale in the US then how much the actual value of the gems would be worth.

Spoiler alert, the actual gem value would be quite a lot of money.

I found a seriously incredible Ocarina of Time Speedrun by Cosmo. In this Speedrun video he gives the Speedrunning history of Ocarina of time and how these particular glitches work so the game can be complete in 22 minutes.

If you are interested in checking out more of Cosmo's videos, check out his YouTube channel and prepare yourself.

CarbotAnimations, the folks that brought us the Starcrafts animations have started to branch out into Nintendo territory. This Zelda video is pretty interesting from the perspective of those dead things in Ocarina. Those things always creeped me out in the original game.

Can't say I didn't have this idea a few times in the Skulltula house :)
