Ubisoft has a bundle of games it's giving away, but time is running out!

"This weekend is your last chance to grab seven Ubisoft games for free on PC. The games are Assassin's Creed III, Rayman Origins, Far Cry 3; Blood Dragon, The Crew, Splinter Cell, Beyond: Good & Evil, and Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time."

I think these were all given away gradually over the past few months but it's awesome that they're having a big encore so that people who missed them can snag them up now.

Yeah, it's part of the anniversary giveaway. I knew about it and got Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon, but I didn't realize I could also get Assassin's Creed III, which I downloaded this morning.

Oh and it is a bundle, you get all those games at once. Maybe I overlooked that before, but still it's cool.

Just a head's up for anyone grabbing Assassin's Creed III, it does not like overlays such as the one added by Geforce Experience. If you experience serious texture blinking/flashing, make sure to disable that feature. It's under Settings>General>Share. What I read from my Google search, it seems this issue applies to AMD cards as well. They apparently have a similar program that does the same thing. Otherwise, the game looks great, especially once I resolved this issue!

I kinda hate every little thing adding an overlay these days. I can report that ACIII is fine with the Steam Overlay, so you if you want one you can add this as a non-Steam game so you can use it there.

Thanks for the tip. It seems not to have a problem with the UPlay overlay. I haven't tried to use that, but launching the game from UPlay shows the key combination that let's you access the overlay (presumably the web). It's just that additional one from the GPU that seems to cause an issue.
