Netflix surprised everyone with the trailer for The Cloverfield Paradox during the Super Bowl, and released it that night! We were excited to see the next Cloverfield installment, and equally excited to talk about it.

Does Paradox live up to previous Cloverfield movies? Do we find out where the monster came from in the original Cloverfield? Did someone spill Slusho on the particle accelerator causing a dystopian reality where the Slusho Corporation controls the Earth? Find out in this episode of Cheerful Ghost Radio!

In Excitebike you can choose to race Solo or against other computer players and you can qualify for the Excitebike championships by coming in at first or third place time. In Excitebike there is also a design mode, allowing you to build and race your own tracks.

Ice Climber was released Jan 30th 1985 by Nintendo R&D1. Nintendo R&D1 made other games such as Donkey Kong, Dr. Mario, Excitebike, Mario Bros., Metroid, Kid Icarus and Tetris. In Ice Climber the characters Popo and Nana head up 32 different ice mountains to get an eggplant from a huge thieving bird vulture thing. In season two of Cheerful Ghost Radio we are starting out doing NES Classic reviews and being things with Ice Climber. We are thinking these reviews can be a more bite-sized episode format and are interested in what you think and if you have any ideas for future episodes!

The power of Netflix shows keeps rolling and Stranger Things 2 is a fun testament to how great steaming shows can be. We talk about the new season, compare it to the first one and talk about where we’d like the show to go next.

Apparently we all had time to watch the latest Marvel mega-hit Thor Ragnarok. Jon seems to have a huge crush on Chris Hemsworth so the episode may be worth listening to for that alone. Where do we think Marvel films should go next and what are we excited for in the upcoming Infinity War film? Spoilers abound but we draw the mark about halfway through the show.

We talk about that and open up the show as we always do, discussing what we’ve been playing and watching and then move straight into a mini review of the ultra fun Steam Indie short Superflight! How much of your gaming diet is Retro gaming or are you simply focused on the latest and greatest? Let us know what you think in the comments!

I originally beat Kingdom Hearts, back in 2002, when it originally came out for the Playstation 2. Having fond memories of the game, I picked up the Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 + 2.5 ReMIX compilation for the PS4. The version of Kingdom Hearts in this compilation is Kingdom Hearts Final Remix. It adds some new content in addition to updating all the game assets to HD.

So how did it hold up the second time around? Overall, it is not as good as I remember, but it is still fun. Some things are still just as horrible (the space shooter sections of the game), while some things remain awesome (character design).

For those that are not aware of Kingdom Hearts, it takes a... Read All
