Although we discussed what we were playing, we didn't discuss what games we are looking forward to in 2015. Well, I did note in that discussion what I'm waiting for, but I'm curious as to what you are waiting for. So, what games are you looking forward to being released in 2015? That does include games that are not only scheduled, but also ones that you'd like to see. This also includes updates to games that were released prior to the new year.
As for me, this is really a repeat of what I've stated in a comment of at least one discussion, but I'll go ahead and repeat myself and add to that. In November, I found out that Terraria was going to get an update to version 1.3 (for the PC). Since then, I've felt like a child again waiting so eagerly and impatiently for Christmas. Well, Christmas came and Terraria 1.3 is still in development. No release date has been given. However, from what I've seen in the forums, we should definitely see it's release this year.
Also, I decided to get Terraria for my Amazon Kindle Fire HDX. Since then, i found out that the Amazon version of the game has not yet updated to 1.2, so I've been waiting for that as well. While it's release date is still unknown, after following the discussion in the forums, the developers (505 Games) have stated on Twitter that it should be available some time this month.
I am also looking forward to the new Starbound update when it arrives. Previously, I tried out the "nightly build" version of the game, but it was (as expected) quite unfinished and there were plenty of bugs. So, I stopped playing it. However, recently Chucklefish has updated the "unstable" version of the game, which is more complete and less buggy than the "nightly build." The stable version of the game (the one everyone is used to) should be receiving a large update very soon, perhaps this month. I've been watching some videos on YouTube about what's new in the "unstable" version and I'm looking forward to the stable update.
I know a few of us are looking forward to StarCraft II: Legacy of the Void. I'm not sure when we expect it to be released, but I'm assuming that we will see it this year.
I also know at least a couple of us are looking forward to the new Zelda game for the Wii U. As with the previously mentioned game, I'm assuming that will also be released this year.

The list of games I am interested in launching this year is pretty short. That said I am really excited about all of them.
Starcraft 2 Legacy of the Void will be the final chapter of SC2 and I can't wait to play it. They have a lot to live up to because Heart of the Swarm was superb.
Stardew Valley looks incredible but ConcernedApe is still plugging away with it. A modern country life farming RPG sim? Uh heck yes.
Like you, Terraria 1.3. Mac and Linux support are worth the price of admission alone.
Hotline Miami 2. Loved the strangeness of the first game and this time around we will be getting a bit more backstory AND a level editor? Can't wait.
A few early access games I'd like to see launched this year? Starbound, Prison Architect, broforce and Crypt of the necrodancer. After Starbound early access I don't play early access games as much so I'd like to see most of those properly launched before I get them. That said, i broke that with prison architect and it was amazing.
Awesome, I'm glad you saw my post and replied. I was afraid that it got hidden by the new stuff you posted. Hehehe.
When we last had a post about StarCraft 2: Legacy of the Void, I was impressed because the development seemed to have progressed faster than I expected. That was due to something I read some where, I'm thinking Wikipedia. I'm looking forward to seeing a release date at least.
I'm not familiar with the development of Terraria on Mac and Linux, but I think it will be good when those versions are released as well. I like that Terraria is available on multiple platforms already such as PC, mobile, and consoles. I have yet to purchase the game for my PS3, but I'm considering doing so when I get more time.
I understand about your concern or issues with Starbound. I enjoyed the game (to a point) when I jumped in and I imagine you played it before I got in to it, so I can only imagine what it must have been like for you. I imagine perhaps my playing of the "nightly build" was similar to your early Starbound experience. I am tempted to get in to the unstable build, but since I'm extremely focused on Hyrule Warriors now and have other games to play, I think I'll wait for the stable release. Do you think you will try it out once that becomes available?

Because of work I spend a lot of time on the Mac and my Desktop dual boots into Linux for gaming. For me, those ports would mean i'd play the game more. Plus, it seems that Linux will become a pretty big deal in PC gamings future this neat year.
Starbound: I will definitely try it out when the new stable update hits. That said, some people have issues with it so I am not sure how much i'll play it. I kind of want to soak in the "1.0" experience but don't mind check it out along the way.
Well, I'm happy to report that Terraria has finally been updated to 1.2 for the Amazon Kindle Fire. I just found out about this on the wiki. Since I was following the Mobile 1.2 thread on the forums, I know that it's been a long wait for us and I'm glad that we finally have the update! I stopped following the thread a few days ago or so. I guess I got tired of waiting for the news and reading since so many people were complaining that our version hadn't received the update yet. I'm not sure when I'll jump back into the game, but I'm just glad that one of the things I was waiting for has finally be released. =)
