I remember when Grim Fandango was released. At the time, I already had a subscription to PC Gamer and was enjoying receiving a CD with game demos with each issue. Although I was aware of Grim Fandango, I never played it even though I thought it looked cool (and I had the demo for it). It wasn't too long ago that a remastered version was released. I still didn't bite. However, it's on sale now for about $5, so I decided to get it.

Has anyone played it before? If so or not, what are your thoughts? Are you going to grab it during this sale?

I've only lightly played it myself. Many years ago I traded it for Morrowind which couldn't run on any computer I owned. I had aspirations to play Grim but sadly it's on my list of shame.

What do you think of it so far?

Interesting trade.

I haven't installed it yet. It's still downloading because I'm still playing ARK.

Makes sense. The first part of Morrowind didn't sit well with me. Again, likely because my computer was so laggy it wasn't a great experience. Been meaning to head back and try it out but TBH I played Oblivion and Skyrim and never finished them. Fun games, but they never really tickled my fancy very much.

I LOVE Oblivion and Skyrim. I'm tempted to play Oblivion yet again. I didn't get very far with Morrowind and I only tried out it in the last few years. I found it to be a bit more difficult than Skyrim or Oblivion. Some of the quests really seem to require you have magic skills. I'm looking forward to the remake of Morrowind that uses the Skyrim engine.
