We live in an incredible time where fantastic new games are coming out at a frantic pace and on top of that we are getting many remakes and modern ports of classic games. Nintendo smashed the scene a handful of years back with the Nintendo and Super Nintendo Classic and Sega wasn't too far behind with the Genesis mini. Apparently that wasn't good enough because they are back with 50+ games packing the Genesis Mini 2 featuring a handful of Sega CD games such as Night Trap, Sewer Shark and Sonic CD! I never had a Sega when I was younger so this coupled with the original Genesis Mini should tide us all over...

Until they release the Genesis Mini 3 that is.

Let me know if you plan to pick this one up. Oh and here is the full list of Genesis Mini 2 games:

That's cool! I got to play on my cousin's Genesis and loved it! I do have a Genesis mini, but like the mini NES & SNES I think, it's been neglected. I've become a PC snob, so I thought about the ones I have or can get on Steam. Some of my favorites were Jurassic Park, Sonic (1-3), Mortal Kombat (1 & 2), and Street Fighter. I do enjoy when these classic games become available for us to enjoy again. It really helps many of us reconnect with our fondest childhood/more youthful memories. It also gives us the opportunity for us dads to enjoy these games with our kids. Reversing roles a bit.

Same. How can you say no to Night Trap and Sewer Shark? I can’t. 🤣
