I never considered that Amazon would pay for a Fallout TV show much less that it would look as incredible as this trailer does! I also appreciate that they are not retelling a Fallout video game story and the show is just another story in the Fallout world.
The first episode of the new Fallout show releases on Amazon April 12th and I will absolutely be watching each one.
"Based on one of the greatest video game series of all time, Fallout is the story of haves and have-nots in a world in which there’s almost nothing left to have. 200 years after the apocalypse, the gentle denizens of luxury fallout shelters are forced to return to the irradiated hellscape their ancestors left behind — and are shocked to discover an incredibly complex, gleefully weird and highly violent universe waiting for them. From executive producers Jonathan Nolan and Lisa Joy, the creators of Westworld, starring Ella Purnell, Aaron Moten, Walton Goggins and more. Arriving April 12 on Prime Video."

I was kind of disappointed w/ some visuals, like the ghoul which was pretty much a "smooth skin" w/out a nose. But, I was impressed w/ some of the cast and seeing that powered/Brotherhood armor suit. I'll give it a watch, I'm glad we got a trailer.
Yeah, the Ghoul / Walter Goggins doesn't look as much like the game but they want that character to be a bit more likable I suppose. I didn't expect much from this so if the show is good, I'll be happy.
Yeah I think that translation from game to live-action just made me feel slightly negative initially. I thought it looked more like a fan-made trailer. It'll probably be cool, though. Hopefully they include some of the great music that's been in the games. I had to go listen to The Ink Spots "I Don't Want to Set the World on Fire" https://youtu.be/TmIwm5RElRs?si=rTcdDrEJ67baPWjA
