As a big fan of Rick and Morty, and a casual fan of Community, I find myself gravitating towards anything Dan Harmon is involved in. Harmon Quest popped up in a YouTube ad and I had to check it out. So far I've only watched 1 episode, but I love the style of it.
Dan plays as Fondue Zubag, a half-orc ranger, and he has a regular cast that plays with him, in front of a live audience, with a guest comedian. The episodes are then animated and cut between the animation of the game and the players around a table.
Paul F. Tompkins was the guest in episode 1 (who played as Teflonto, Earthscar's village champion and captain of the town's militia. Also a friend, mentor, and role model to Fondue). Looking at the episode list, here are some of the guest players: Aubrey Plaza, Thomas Middleditch, Kumail Nanjiani, Patton Oswalt and Nathan Fillion.
If you're a fan of Dungeons and Dragons, or just comedy, I 100% recommend checking this out! (It does require setting up a free account to watch)

Very cool! I love that they animate it. Another popular live D&D game is put on by Penny Arcade, called Acquisition Inc. (http://www.acq-inc.com/). Wil Wheaton, Patrick Rothfuss, and Morgan Webb, along with the PA guys (Mike and Jerry), are part of the main team.
That sounds great! I'll have to check it out. And actually play D&D sometime... would anyone in CG be interested in a Google Hangout D&D game? (Does anyone know how to play as well? I've watched, but I don't have any idea on rule books/character sheets)
