Now that the new Terraria holiday update is upon us, I want to run a repeat of our 1.2 server so we can check out the new updates.

Dig the new 1.2.2 stuff but it seems to be a new Pumpkin Moon event and presents instead of candy bags. Not that I mind, I think it is really neat.

That said the fight is really awesome and I got quite a few presents including a Christmas Tree sword. Let me know what you guys have done and find.

So WBS and I just took one two of the new holiday spawn events. I got another Razorpine and gave it to WBS and we both used them in the battle. Holy cow, the Razorpine with the Spectre Armor is awesome. So much health comes back to you in a fight.

Curious though, is there a hotkey for drinking a mana pot?

A definite must get for sure.

Yep, quick mana drink is "J" that will help out during the fight a ton.

Oh and I will be taking the server down in the next couple hours, if you have anything on it you need grab it before it goes. I'll bring it back for a few full uninterrupted days in the new year though.

I never knew about J, I just have mana pots in 0, and switch to that whenever I need one. That's definitely good to know.

It's probably worth mentioning, but i used zero mana potions during our frost moon runs. I just used Magic cuffs and when my mana was getting low I let a mob hit me. http://terraria.gamepedia.com/Magic_Cuffs

Usually I prefer melee type characters, and I absolutely LOVE my paladins hammer + cursed hatchet combo, but spectre armor + magic cuffs is where it's at for these special moon events.
