"The Expendables 3 comes to Broforce in a ridiculous, free expansion pack."

As if Broforce wasn't already a great game, here comes the Expendabros, a free standalone download. This version is themed for the new Expendables 3 film and they got Dolph Lundgren to cameo in the reveal trailer! It's cool to see Indie games moving into integrating movie IP which has typically only been taken on by triple A studios.

"The Expendabros was created by Broforce developer Free Lives and will be available for download until December 31, 2014."

What do you think of the Expendabros?

So what happens after that time has expired? If I download it now, and my computer crashes in January, will I be able to download it again?

Ah, never mind. It looks like it's an expansion pack in name only. It seems you can just download it and play it whether you have Broforce or not.

Yep, it's a totally free version of Broforce themed to the release of the Expendables 3. I just downloaded it and played it, it's great. It also acts like a totally standalone demo for Broforce. It contains about 8 levels and takes about an hour or less to beat.

My guess is it's a promotion for the Expendables 3, so if you haven't downloaded it by then my guess is new people won't be able to get it? It's not entirely clear right now.

That's insanely fun
