I played this game around the time it was released, not the Special Edition though. I have SimCity 4 Deluxe, which I started playing again a month ago. I posted about it in the forums. The sad thing is that I went through the tutorials as I had previously done and then I lost interest in continuing to play it.

I snagged this, who knows if I'll ever actually play it, but I have it. To anyone who has a 16/9 or 16/10 monitor (who doesn't these days) here's a resolution fix from reddit:
If you are using a 16:9 or 16:10 monitor, then the game will initially appear slightly distorted for being in the wrong aspect ratio. Fix:
I almost can't believe how quickly it downloaded and installed. I'm not sure when I will play it though.
Thanks for the resolution fix, Travis. That solution looks very familiar (as in similar to another Sims or SimCity game).
