Two New Hearthstone Heroes Revealed

Two new Heroes are coming to Hearthstone in Medivh and Alleria Windrunner. Combined with the new Tavern brawl, Blizzard is creating a pretty large Hearthstone update.

I wonder when we might see a new Adventure? If we did, what kinds of new cards or card mechanics would you like to see?

The new Heroes are $10 or $20 each and they don't seem to have a gold value. That may change in time, but I don't see a need for them now, for me anyway.

I've seen people with the backs of cards that were different than mine and wondered what kind of cards those were. It seems we can now customize them.

I've apparently never been on while the Tavern was open.

The Tavern will be opening for the first time today in about 20 mins! I'm really excited to see what it's like :)

Thanks for the heads up, Adam, I played my first Brawl and lost. If I win, I get a card pack, that would be cool. I suggest others try out the Tavern, it's different.

I'm 1 for 3. I quit after I won so I could open my new pack. That's the second pack I've earned recently, the first spectating your win (a daily quest). I think I got some good cards, which is good because I get tired of seeing the same originals all the time. Now I wonder, when I should re-customize my decks. It's been a while. I've been working on getting my Heroes leveled up and gold cards in the process. Depending on the hero, I do normal practice or re-fight some of the Naxxramas bosses. I also do the class challenges. I still don't have one hero that I use all the time. I just go from left to right, top to bottom, when leveling. As for the dailies, I just pick one of the ones that's listed, if the daily requires winning with a certain hero.

The Brawl is fun but the cards are so overpowered I am not sure how balanced it is. I guess one could translate that to "ITS SO DIFFERENT" but yeah, it's a lot of fun and wildly so.
