The Steam Summer Sale is here and with it come some great deals. Incredible deals such as Starship Rubicon, the game Cheerful Ghost published is marked down so low it would be improper of you not to buy it at $1.99! Wait... hold the phone... $1.99? It would be insane of you not to buy it at that kind of discount so don't be crazy y'all, pick it up today!

And while your at it check all the other deals out on such games like Wolfenstein: The Old Blood at $9.99 which I somehow missed even though I absolutely loved The New Order. Or the nightmare created horror rogue-like The Darkest Dungeon which is also marked down to $9.99. But don't take my word for it, head over to Steam now and see what all the deals are about and while you pick up a few games let me know what you are getting.

I might go with the Sega Mega Drive and Genesis Classics bundle. Yesterday it was about $60, today it's about $20. Not much else on my wish list at the moment. That one's only relevant because of the announcement of Sega Forever.

I think I got both Wolfenstein games for $10 each during one of the last sales.

Yeah, I thought maybe The Old Blood would go under $10 but it doesn't seem like it has and I do want to play it before Wolf II comes out.

The Old Blood is $9.99!

Well yeah, but I was thinking it would be like $5 or something. It's been marked down to $9.99 before. I guess I was just hoping it would go lower. Maybe after Wolf II is out?

$9.99 is still a great deal, I think i'm just a bit spoiler by the old legendary Steam Sales of yester year. These are good but they don't seem nearly as nuts as the bundled deals we'd get back in the day. I remember picking up Skyrim, Fallout New Vegas and a couple other Beth games for $30.

/wipes tear from eye

I think the old days where the week-long discounts weren't stellar but the daily (and sometimes thrice-daily) deal switches gave intense discounts were better overall. I kinda get why they stopped it but still.

Yeah. It seems now we get sales and bundles all the time and the crazy sales aren't as popular anymore. I think it's a win but... I miss the crazy crazy deals.

I picked up Doom, Batman VR and Everest VR

I bought that SEGA Mega Drive and Genesis Classics bundle for huge savings! Most of my Cheerful Ghost friends on Steam have it.

I remembered that DLC for Don't Starve called Shipwrecked. I also remembered Mortal Kombat, so I got the Komplete Edition. The Arkham Knight franchise is on sale, too, so I got the Premium version or whatever. All of that cost about $25. I think that's a sweet deal.

I ended up grabbing Shadow of Mordor because I hear so many good things about it. Can't beat that $3 price tag.

Also Mankind Divided despite the mixed reviews because I adored Human Revolution.

Virginia, because I love Twin Peaks and this game feels like that.

Ori and the Blind Forest because I have a friend trying to get me to play it and it looks really great.

And finally Final Fantasy XIII-2 and Lightning Returns because I was an oddball that loved XIII and want some more.

I also decided to get The Long Dark. I've watched one of my favorite YouTubers play it in the last few years.

@Travis I have FFXIII, XIII-2, and Lightning Returns on the PS3. I haven't played much of those games, but I did finish the first two once. I'm not sure if I'll get them on Steam.
