I'm not going to get every E3 Nintendo news bit so if you have something you thought was noteworthy, drop it in the comments. That said, Nintendo did drop some really interesting bits and I'm going to dance over the stuff I'm most excited about starting with...
The Link's Awakening HD Remake
So.... this looks incredible and if you haven't yet I seriously recommend you watch the embedded video of the Link's Awakening Treehouse gameplay footage above. The core gameplay looks just like what you'd expect and they've gone to pretty great lengths to keep the feel of the original Gameboy title intact. That said, Nintendo is brining quite a bit more to this remake than just the core gameplay remade in that Link's Awakening is including a Zelda Dungeon Maker.
The core idea for the Zelda Dungeon maker is pretty simple, as you complete dungeons you unlock dungeon tiles that allow you to use them to build your own Dungeons. You can share these Dungeons with your friends and take turns challenging each other to who can do the dungeon the fastest.
I've thought for some time that a Zelda Maker in the same style as Mario Maker would be incredible and it seems Nintendo is testing the waters with Link's Awakening. I hope it's successful because getting a proper Zelda Maker would be incredible.
Link's Awakening is one of the best Zelda games and one of my favorite and because of that I pre-ordered the Dreamer Edition. It comes with the base game cart and artbook.

Collection of Mana
If you missed Mana on Gameboy, Super Nintendo and didn't download the fan translation ROM of Trials of Mana (Seiken Densetsu 3) you can pick up the digital download pack right now on the Nintendo eShop.

Elder Scrolls Blades Coming to Switch
Bethesda is brining Elder Scrolls Blades to Switch... for free. I've played it on phone and it's fine but hopefully the Switch version makes use of the thumbsticks so it feels a bit more like a proper Elder Scrolls game.

Sequel to Breath of the Wild
I wish they'd release this for the Wii U as they did the first game, but I seriously doubt this will happen.

Oh, and Final Fantasy VIII Remastered! This is my favorite Final Fantasy. This is the one Travis introduced me to and got me hooked on the series. Luckily, I have this on Steam, I don't know that the two versions are different, just glad it's remastered/HD.

Yeah I feel like the biggest thing out of the Nintendo Direct was the BotW sequel announcement. Even if it’s not a huge reveal and we still know nothing about it.
