Nighthawk Interactive and Digital Eclipse are teaming up to re-release two of the most popular retro movies games ever, Aladdin and The Lion King. This release will be pretty special in that they will include quite a few of the various versions of both games. Aladdin will come with the Sega Genesis and Nintendo Game Boy versions and the Final Cut version. The Lion King will come with the Genesis, Nintendo SNES and Game Boy versions to round out this really incredible collection.

Nighthawk Interactive and Digital Eclipse also understand the market they are targeting as this collection will come out on Switch, PS4 and XBox One as physical versions for $30! If the ports are top notch I can't think of a better way to play these classics if you want to relive them in a new way. Oh and apparently they are being remade for full 1080p and it doesn't look like they are being stretched from 4x3!

This collection can't wait to be King and drops October 29th!

This is an absolute steal for two amazing games (six kinda). The Aladdin SNES game being missing is kinda expected, and welcome. See the awesome Portscenter rundown for more info why:

Yeah. I have the SNES version but folk consider the Sega version to be superior. I bet it was very hard to get the licenses for all these games. First you need to clear with Disney then each of the development rights holders. A pretty incredible feat.
