This sounds crazy cool. But I worry like the huge revolution the Segway was supposed to be (before we even knew what it was), this could be a lot of overblown hype.
That said, it sounds incredibly cool and I look forward to hearing more about it!

I just found out that Ground Kontrol Arcade now serves booze. This is not bad news, but if you are under 21 you can't enter after 5 PM. Maybe someday they will have a separate yet adjacent bar like so many restaurants do, but until then, if you are a teen, plan accordingly.
Theyve served beer since ive known they existed. Then again, thats only been like 6 years. Still a rad place and recently its been upgraded so it looks a bit nicer than it did. Some of my friends didn't seem to dig the new look as they prefer something a bit more divey.
This is game I need to add to my list to play and beat. Now that its on the iPhone I might pick it up. Its so unique and I don't see many like it these days.
The art was cool, it looked a lot like the modern Disney cartoons of the time. Very cool and I put a few dollars into it, so very hard though.
I once played this game online over a modem. Honestly, I don't remember if it was 14.4 or 56k. It was with a good friend's brother in law.The game was really intense, but I managed to build a nuke over time. He had the upper hand by that point, until I wiped out his commander with a nuke. I lost the telephone connection and within seconds the phone rang. He was pretty steamed, saying that we had never decided before the game that nukes were ok to use. Heck, we never had a pre-war pow wow about any of the weapons. All's fair in love and computer wars.
Bummer nukes were not allowed, ive played games with friends where they don't like me to use nukes. Something about making it hard to trade for supplies or something. :)

The original Tetris for NES, (the one that Nintendo pulled from the shelves so they could replace it with their own stupid version) really rocked. It was just like the coin op game, and you could play against another person which I loved. The one NES put out was single player only, which can be fun, but lacks the adrenaline of the original.
