At SXSW, Gearbox announced that a new playable character is coming to Borderlands 2! There aren't really any details yet, as it's currently just a teaser, but the character looks to be a beefy melee focused character.

Wow that looks pretty awesome. For some reason as I watched the video when the hulking things silhouette was shown I somehow was reminded of the Toxic Avenger.
