I've played a little of The New Order so far and enjoying it quite a bit. I was pleased to find this awesome nod to Wolfenstein's roots. It looks like the same level that was an easter egg in RAGE, but I'm not 100% sure. I guess that would be the easy thing to do.

game looks so surreal
Yeah, Rage did have a Wolf3D as well as a Doom level. The Wolf3D level wasn't much, just a single room with some gold in it. That said, that room MAY have made it easier to put this into New Order. Rage was good and the nods to old games made it tons better.
I spoiled the secret because I wanted to make sure I haven't passed it yet. I haven't and will know what to do to get to the level. Woot.
