Bro, More Broforce Forever Bro!

Looks like the biggest update to Broforce is coming in 2023 and while there aren't a lot of details surrounding the announcement, I'm still quite excited. Yeah, the game came out almost 8 years ago but it's still incredible and plays well on everything it's on (I've got it on Switch).

Broforce Will Leave Early Access On October 15th As We All Sing The Ballad Of Rambro

Broforce will launch on Steam October 15th and will add a whole slew of campaign missions set to defeat the devil. Wait... as in king Diablo himself? Like Satan incarnate?

The full launch of America’s favorite freedom simulator will include a new set of challenging campaign missions as the bros charge into Satan’s stronghold for a final confrontation in hell with the dark lord himself!

Oh hell yes.

Broforce is everyones favorite freedom acquisition simulator featuring mook murder and now with a whole new set of updates that would make Jean Claude Van Damme quit his Timecop job. This new update features the Brocketeer, Broheart, new Melee attacks & FLEXING!

Broforce Gets Super Alien Update - Game Over Man, Game Over!

Broforce continues it's Steam Early Access domination in the form of an all new update featuring Zenomorph Aliens. Fight these iconic Aliens as Indiana Brones, The Brominator, Cherry Broling and the rest of the Broforce crew! Free Lives have treated the Broforce Early Access well and the great updates just keep coming. If they continue on at this rapid fire pace I imagine Broforce will launch some time this year!

Broforce Keeps On Truckin' With "Bro Max" and "The Brode"

In a world of disappointing Steam Greenlight games, Broforce shows us a better way forward. In this latest Broforce update the game gets two new Bros in "Bro Max" modeled after Mad Max from the Road Warrior trilogy and "The Brode" penned after Uma Thurman's The Bride from the Kill Bill series. The update also features new levels and Steam Workshop level building updates as well as some multiplayer match-making work.

Broforce Double Bro Impact Update Looks Bro-tacular

So Broforce looks great. Shooting, killing, pixel art, tons of bad-ass characters to play as. What's not to love? Honestly the game looks really awesome and I want to pick it up, I just have this new aversion to games on Steam Greenlight. That said, I played a few minutes of Broforce at a friends house and it was fun for the few minutes I played. My friend mentioned that the game needed more Bros as well as levels which fits a common complaint on Steam in the game is too short. This update adds 3 new bros as well as new game mechanics, levels and an update to Indiana Brones. Oh and the new mech? Awesome.

More to the point, this game looks awesome. Like Metal Slug with more action and worse/better graphics. Depending on how you feel about graphics.

I really like the Broforce graphics quite a bit. People said they need an update but I don't see it, I like the chunky pixels.

I agree. I think it's charming as hell. Which may be an odd adjective to use with this kind of game, but there you go.

Huh. I think the comical nature and simplicity of the graphics plays into the bro-nature of the game.

But yeah, more realistic and gritty would be pretty interesting!

Basically that the game I bought is really disappointing. Some games are so bad it's frankly disturbing they want to sell it. Some are just at the state where you get a bad dose of what the promise of the game is.

When I started with early access I thought it was a bunch of games mostly finished with some cleanup to do. Yeah, not really.

After watching the Broforce trailer I was intrigued. Being able to play as Brommando, Rambro, BA Broacus, Bro Hard, Brodel Walker, Brade, Bro Dredd, MacBrover, Snake Broskin, Indiana Brones, The Brominator, Bro in Black & Brobocop is like my 80's childhood dream come true.
