Cygnus Destroyer is on the case with a new Guilty or Innocent verdict of Bible Buffet, the NES Wisdom Tree classic. Bible Buffet is a board game turned digital that features different stages of buffet food. Not only do you have the overmap board mode but the game also features Bible quizzes and a Zelda like adventure mode. Is this game a hidden classic or is it guilty of being terrible? I could imagine playing this with some friends while under the influence of some recreational beverages. But it would be fun because you're enjoying everyone's frustration.
I like this guy's style, definitely checking some others.
For it's intended purpose, being a functional, enjoyable game, the verdict is terrible. Mostly because of the companion question book. If the questions were inside the game, I think this could be an actually interesting game to try out, if only to test my knowledge, but I think I'd rather just play a board game.
We should play it next time we hang out. Be interested to know how long we last
