Hyper Light Drifter is a Indie game that came to Kickstarter asking for $27,000 and ended up raising an impressive $650,000. I bought in after the Kickstarter and was allowed access to an early Steam build. The game is beautiful but I wasn't as impressed with the initial builds as i'd have liked. I imagine they haven't been sitting on their hands and the game has advanced in terms of gameplay, story and setting such that from this trailer it looks just as great as i'd hoped.

Definitely looks like they've put some shine to the graphics and animations. Beautiful stuff. I hope the story comes close to that level of polish. Looking forward to this one!
