I couldn't help it man. I couldn't help it. I'd been trying to both talk myself into buying it and talk myself out of it for weeks. D2 was such a time sink. I have (eventually) installed D2 on every PC I've had since it came out, but I haven't let myself play it because it was more compulsion than enjoyable escapism.
But it seems like they really fixed a lot of that, and I'm enjoying this more, I think. I hesitate to say it's more "casual" but it is definitely more approachable and the world, the lore, the controls, and the atmosphere gel together into something fantastic.
So I'm glad I gave in :)
