Your assassination of Nazi General Deathshead was a short-lived victory. Despite the setback, the Nazis maintain their stranglehold on the world. You are BJ Blazkowicz, aka “Terror-Billy,” member of the Resistance, scourge of the Nazi empire, and humanity’s last hope for liberty. Only you have the guts, guns, and gumption to return stateside, kill every Nazi in sight, and spark the second American Revolution.
In Nintendo's livestream today they let us a know a couple Bethesda games are coming to the Switch. Skyrim is coming this November which was previously announced at E3. The latest news though is pretty interesting as Doom 2016 is coming this holiday and Wolfenstein II is coming next year. This is pretty big news for Switch owners as Nintendo, to date, hasn't really received a lot of big box third party titles and seeing Bethesda jump in is really interesting. I have questions about how good the ports play and the graphics of the games but if they work out well enough, this could be really interesting for the longevity of Switch and how certain gamers look at it.
I think Bethesda might be the kings and queens of next level video game advertising that border on satirical art. With the recent protests of actual Nazi's in the US (can't believe that shit is real and happening) Wolfenstein II is verging into eerily real territory. In an earlier trailer for Wolf II Nazi's and the KKK stand side by side in an American street as buddies. With all that's happening in the US and the story iD Software wants to tell with Wolfenstein II it's just an interesting intersection where art imitates life but in the words of everyone favorite Nazi hunter BJ Blazkowicz...

New Wolfenstein is coming soon and as such Bethesda is pushing it hard online. Some of the stuff coming out is pretty interesting including the above mini conversation with Wolfensteins designers. The key takeaway from this video? Expect many Nazis to die by the hands of the resistance.
Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus and all of it's Nazi murder simulative goodness will release October 27th on PC, PS4 and XBox One.

Another Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus video hit YouTube today from the alternate history gameshow German or Else! Apparently people in the United States have 173 days to switch over to speaking only German and the gameshow is a way educate people on the change. It's a funny concept until they take away the loser at the end for re-education. They end the clip with some in game footage and I really find the scene with the SS officers chumming it up with the KKK to be particularly disturbing.
October 27th can't come quickly enough.

I think I could handle a new Wolfenstein game released every few years that continues the fucking bananas storyline that MachineGames created in the epic Wolfenstein: The New Order that they are continuing in The New Colossus. Looks like BJ survived the events of the first game(spoiler alert) and is going to be a father of twins! I like how everyone that survived the first game is back and that they've added some all new characters to the game that look like a lot of fun. MachineGames New Order was one of the best story driven shooters i've played in years and is a game i've actually come back to play a couple times over. In The New Colossus BJ is set on seeing...
It was nice to see some more AAA 3rd party support. There was also some more EA sports announcements. It feels like Nintendo has 1st party and indie down, they just need AAA 3rd party to really show up. So far it looks promising.
Here is a video of how well Doom runs on the Switch. It looks solid.

We shall see how it runs on TV.
It seems like it will run on the TV at 720p which should be pretty good but not quite what you’d get on the PS4.
