An incredibly interesting video about From Scratch building a working computer inside Terraria!

Greetings Terrarians! Terraria's State of the Game for August is up and it brings some great new about the "Labor of Love" update. First, what is it? Well, this came about when a few years ago Terraria won the "Labor of Love" award on Steam. This was a category in one of the "Game of the Year" polls they do. The "Labor of Love" category was for games that have been out for a while, but continue to receive new content. So, it was decided to give an update to version 1.4.4.

I know, right, we thought we saw the last content update for Terraria that gave us Journey mode. But we're always delightfully surprised (except with the cancellation of Terraria: Otherworld). So, ... Read All

ChippyGaming has a fun new Terraria 1.4 gameplay video out showing some of the new game features and they look superb. The biggest standout are the updated graphics and polished UI improvements.

Dare I say this looks to be the biggest Terraria update yet? Glad this game made a zillion bucks so they can give it this final send off.

This has been shared in some comment threads but wanted to give it more visibility.

Our long wait is at an end, folks. The final major update to Terraria will be with us on May 16.

This update has been in the works for quite some time now, and will bring with it quite a few new features, including new game modes Journey and Master, new weapons, new NPCs, new buildable objects, GOLFING, and so many others.

The wiki has a list of all confirmed new features for 1.4 and this likely isn't even all of them: https://terraria.gamepedia.com/Upcoming_features

Terraria, the game that we can’t get enough of on Cheerful Ghost, has achieved one more step toward their goal of being available on every system. This time, it’s the Nintendo Switch!

This isn’t the Journey’s End update, and in fact isn’t even up to date with the PC version, it’s the same as the other console versions which are still a couple updates behind, pending some work porting the new changes over.

If you haven’t picked this up, this might be a good time for it. One thing to note is that the price, $29.99, is a little steep compared to the PC version which is $9.99 normally, but is currently on sale for $4.99.

Generally speaking, PC is probably the way to go for... Read All

If you've been on this site much, you know we love Terraria, and that we've been waiting for the next update for quite some time. Well, we only have a little longer to wait, as Terraria will receive the Journey's End update this year. It will naturally be free, as all updates have been.

The name "Journey's End" certainly sounds final, and that's what Re Logic has in mind. This will be the last major update to the game, with only bug fixes, balancing, small things like that. What had been teased as 1.3.6 has become 1.4 because of the massive changes they've added.

Shortly after this was shown at E3, the official forums got the news in full, with all the changes coming,... Read All

ChippyGaming is one of the most renowned Terraria YouTube video creators who over the years has been able to showcase exclusive game update spoilers and today has a new video that looks back at the Terraria 1.2 update. The 1.2 update changed Terraria forever and cemented it in my heart as one of the best games of all time. Not only did it come with a ton of new NPC's, the Crimson and more but it also came with ... the Bee update.

As I race around the Internets I see interesting stuff and today I read a headline on Kotaku that I wanted to ask you all here. The article was just a question to the community about what games they'd be playing forever. I was thinking about those games for me and also was wondering what those games are for you? I have a bit of a non-subtle hint with this post. Yeah... i'm pretty sure i'll be playing Terraria off and on forever. I also think i'm going to keep playing retro games like Mario 2, 3, World, Link to the Past, Tetris, etc. But it's not all retro games as some newer games that I plan on revisiting are the Borderlands series, Hearthstone(as long as they keep...
