Sheathe your sword, draw your deck, and get ready for Hearthstone - the fast paced strategy card game that's easy to learn and massively fun. Start a free game on Battle.net and play your cards to sling spells, summon creatures, and command the heroes of Warcraft in duels of epic strategy.

Ever since Hearthstone has dropped on phones I've been playing lots of matches. That might sound like a lot of time but considering each Hearthstone match typically lasts between 5 to 10 minutes it's not. The individual match length and ability to play on phones make it a great choice if you don't have hours to allocate to playing games or a beefy Desktop. Oh and the game is hells-o-fun too.

The classes I have been having the most fun with are the Shaman and Warlock. I have been trying out simple strategy decks with some basic cards. After I unlocked all the basic cards by leveling up each class to 10 by practicing on the computer I decided to take my hand playing... Read All

Blizzards digital collectable card game just dropped on iPhone, Android Phone and Amazon phones today. It features a very streamlined interface built with small screens in mind. I played 3 matches on my iPhone 5S today and they ran flawlessly. As someone that isn't really into tablets or playing Hearthstone at the Desktop I love Hearthstone on my phone. As far as I am concerned it's the best way to play it and allows for very casual in and out play.

I recommend you play a match on your phone as they are handing out a free card pack to everyone that plays a game for a time(practice matches included).

I just recently found out that Blizzard is giving away the Hearthstone soundtrack for free. If you are interested in owning the music of the game, check out the link below.

I play this game at work, I play this game at home. I play it probably 4-5 days at least out of the 7 day week. It's easy to play for 15 minutes or for 3 hours. There is no pausing while in your 10-15 min match, but you can jump up to refill water or something and not lose your turn.

I play MtG competitively every week still (in person). I love card games. What I like about Hearthstone is the following:

1. The game IS free, albeit with options to buy stuff.
2. There's no trading, so there aren't people farming all the good stuff and then trading/selling.
3. Since the game does earn money for Blizzard, they are invested to keep the game balanced and update it.
4. The... Read All

"Hearthstone’s highly anticipated single player Adventure Mode has been officially announced today at PAX East! Curse of Naxxramas: A Hearthstone Adventure!"

What, a single player campaign for Hearthstone? Wow, that sounds great... tell me more!

"The ancient necropolis Naxxramas, a base of operations for the powerful archlich Kel’Thuzad and his plague-bearing undead host, comes to Hearthstone in a single-player Adventure that anyone can undertake. Progress through each of the five unique wings of the dungeon and gain new cards for your Hearthstone collection by defeating the iconic bosses you’ll face along the way: the oversized arachnid Maexxna, the fungal horror... Blizzard has a *lock* on Grinder games. To whit: Diablo and WoW. Diablo is a complex loot-aggregation simulator, and you know you've gathered enough loot when you can survive the next level of the dungeon, and you know you've won when there are no more levels to go. Of WoW, it's said that the game doesn't even *begin* until you've maxed out your level, and the whole way up is one epic grind.

Enter Hearthstone. The game itself is not super interesting - it's simpler than Pokemon, and not in an awesome way. There is some strategy involved, but I've not found any of the matches to reward too much thinking. This is another grinding game from Blizzard, which by itself is... Read All

"The wait is over: The Hearthstone Open Beta Test is now live in North America! If you haven’t joined in on all of the crazy card-slinging action yet, now is your chance! Pull up a chair and prepare to start casting powerful spells, summoning mighty minions, and dueling your friends in a fast-paced strategy card game for everyone."

Hearthstone is one of the best unsung new games of 2013. Blizzard took the collectable card format popularized by games like Magic: The Gathering and tossed in some love to make a very accessible, fun and rich game. Oh righ and did I mention that the game costs you nothing?

Hearthstone is one of those great pickup and play games where you... Read All

Blizzard's TCG, Hearthstone, has been in closed beta for a few months now, but good news for everyone who has been missing out: It's going to be in open beta starting some time next month. Rob Pardo did warn that this means it could be January in "Blizzard speak."

In addition, Hearthstone for iOS and Android has been confirmed. I think the game would be a great fit for mobile, and I'm looking forward to trying it out.

A few days ago Blizzard blessed me with access to the Hearthstone: Heroes of Warcraft beta. Since I have been pretty busy with Terraria 1.2, Monaco and PixelJunk Monsters I haven't given much attention to the Hearthstone beta. That said, I installed it and over the last few days have played most of the practice matches once and tried my hand at two online matches with real live humans.

You start out Hearthstone by playing 5 guided matches. Over these matches they let you know the games rules and slowly acclimate you to how to play. The 5 matches are not optional and they are not skippable. I thought it was pretty nice and they really do usher in the more complex game... Read All

Blizzard has started rolling out beta invites for Hearthstone to press and people who opted into the beta. Hearthstone is Blizzard's new trading card game based on the Warcraft universe.

You can buy cards in the beta, though you won't be able to keep them when the game goes live. However, you will be given a credit equal to the amount you paid for the cards.
