And now, the Demon Hunter.

This is honestly the one I was looking forward to the most. I have a Demon Hunter at level 60 who's just sitting in Inferno and waiting because it got so frustrating to play. I was hoping for more details in this post, but it looks like things are going to be smoother sailing for him when I get back to him.
And now, the preview for improvements in the upcoming patch 1.04 for the Monk!

Looks like an across-the-board improvement. I can't wait to get in with my monk and cause some havoc. Again, like the Wizard, this wasn't as detailed as I would have liked, but it seems to be win-win.
Next up, the Wizard.

This one is getting a slight nerf to one skill, although the comments would have you believe it's the worst thing that's ever happened since the Holocaust. Honestly, it doesn't *seem* like that big a deal to me, but I have yet to play a Wizard, so I'm not sure.

It seems that every other rune that isn't the most widely used for each skill is getting major buffs though. This post seems less informative than the last, so I guess we'll have to wait for the patch notes.
Kinda lost in all the Diablo III news, but the Diablo III Starter Edition is now free, just like WoW and Starcraft 2. No need for guest passes.

It's the same content as the guest pass and the beta weekend-- you can level to 13, and get all the way through the Skeleton King.
Blizzard has just updated their blog with the Barbarian changes.

More classes coming soon.

The one major thing to take away from this-- *nothing* is getting nerfed, and tons of things are getting buffed. The Barbarian is really the best well-rounded at the moment, so there are probably fewer things to do for this class than the others.

Stay tuned for the rest of the class updates!
I spent far too long on this.
Dawnguard is out for PC! Get it while it's hot!

In case you missed it during the Steam Summer Sale, the base game is also half off right now, and there are deals on previous Elder Scrolls games as well.

If you've missed out on id games, you can also get a massive pack of every game id and Bethesda have released for cheap!

The wonderful people behind the Humble Bundles are doing something different this time-- Music!

A few of the albums are video game related, some directly, some tangentially. All albums are available in MP3 or FLAC, DRM-free.

I wonder what their next foray into electronic media for charity will be. Movies?
A few quick Steam Workshop mods to get you started in Skyrim

I'm assuming some of you are playing Skyrim for the first time now, since it was half-off for the Steam Summer Sale. (How over budget are you all, by the way?)

While TES Nexus is still the best place to get mods, Steam Workshop makes it so easy to automatically download them and install them.

If you're in the market for a new house, there are plenty to choose from. My personal favorite is a Dwemer Airship called the Asteria. This player house is beautifully done, very detailed, and has plenty of storage space. My only qualm is the lack of usable bookshelves, but everything else makes up for it.

If you're interested in sprucing up the place, the Towns and Villages Enhanced series will bring new life into towns across Skyrim. Riften is in especially dire need of a makeover, so I'll provide that link here, but search for Towns and Villages Enhanced to find them all.

One big problem PC players have is with the default menu. With SkyUI, that is changed. The menu feels far more like Oblivion, if you're familiar with that. Lots of options for sorting as well. This one requires a little extra hacking to get going, but nothing terribly complicated.

There are tons more. Probably in the thousands. This certainly isn't meant to be comprehensive. There are many best-of lists for mods around, if you're interested in reading more. If there's anything you are interested in, just search for it and check the reviews. The Steam comment system is built in, so you can see what other people think about the mods before making your decision.

Happy dragon hunting!

Just a quick note, folks-- The Steam Summer Sale is upon us! Happy hunting!
