That wasn't just some old guy, but I understand your lack of spoilers :) That questline was one of my favorites.

Any sense of how far you are from beating Skyrim?

You never finish an Elder Scrolls game, you just stop playing when it's finished with you.

I like how energetic she is. Im not sure I could be that happy without a coat playing an instrument in snow. Then again, she is a Kokiri so they might have a different temperature than humans do.

Agreed. Renaming people is cool. For FF2 & 3 I totally went with stock but in Secret of Mana because they didn't have default names I always went with whatever.

I hope square does a triple A game that is a mad throwback to the old ones. Text based, 2d, great sound and story. It could run on mostly anything and wouldn't take 8 years to develop!

I like that the guy traveling looks like the Dragon Warrior guy.

It was a fun game, but hard as hell. I got as far as the Technodrome but could never finish it.

The underwater level wasnt too bad once you got the hang of it, but if you don't get the hang of it ..... so many dead turtles...

Barbas is so annoying after you get him to his destination and have to go elsewhere. He knocked me off a cliff twice. Save often!

Also, if you haven't done Hircine's quest, check that out. You can have more control over your werewolf transformations.

I *think* that the reward from Hircine's quest gives you more control there. The only way I ever changed back was by waiting.

Awesome. When I get Skyrim I will allocate time to killing rabbits. See if my rabbit average could be well over my Dragon average.

Protip-- following foxes around can lead you to interesting stuff.

They can also lead you around in circles for an hour. That's the only fox I've killed.

Fair enough. To be honest I don't have a huge sample size. I have followed three, and two took me somewhere interesting. I learned about it from this article: http://www.damnlag.com/things-you-may-have-missed-in-skyrim/ but in searching around for more info it appears they may just be entirely random and just happen to pass interesting things.

I agree, I want the game + steam key so I can play it where its best served. Im thinking of picking up Skyrim on the PS3 after I hear how the latest PS3 patch shakes out.

The water physics are great. I was so impressed when I dropped in the water the first time and realized I was being pulled by a current.
