Skyrim! I'm sorry sorry I've been neglecting you! But I've more than made up for it this weekend so far.

I had gotten to what I thought was a lull in the game, and work/life got crazy busy, so I took a couple months off from gaming, but man, I picked it right back up Friday night and into Saturday morning!

This game just keeps getting better! Tons of story lines going on right now. I actually felt bad today because I'm an assassin (along with so many other things lol) and I was sent to kill this old guy. He knew I was coming, so he just turned around and let me kill him... so after I killed him I killed the guy who paid me to kill him ;)

I'm pretty sure everyone on this site knows who Link is, and who Zelda is, but, here's a chick dressed up as Link playing a rad medley of songs from the Zelda theme. Beautifully shot as well. Enjoy!

Such difficult names...

Google Maps 8-Bit! This is both hilarious and rad. (Blow on the cartridge!)

Sure, this game was impossible without the Konami Code, but still, this song brings back fond memories...

Playing through the game, and doing a lot of side quests, the game almost felt *too* big to do what I really wanted it to: a full scale war.

Now things have happened, and the war is in motion!

(Trying to not give any spoilers!)

So much to do in this game!

I'm in the middle of about 10 quest trees, with probably about 30 side quests on going. I've decided to clean up my side quests before continuing on with the main quests, as there's a lot of "Go Talk To ___" type things just cluttering the quests screen. But all of them end up being enjoyable.

One quest that I'm in the middle of is following a dog that's talking to me. He and his owner had a falling out, and he wants me to help him talk to his owner. I believe his owner is some sort of demon/demigod type character, and might even be the dog itself, who's just playing a trick on me. I was following the dog, but got distracted by an interesting looking building that happened to have a theives guild burrowed underneath it. After I slaughtered my way through that, I came back up out of the building and forgot about the dog, as I had so many quests to work on.

Oh, and I'm a were-freaking-wolf now. How sweet is that! I feel invincible when I transform! (Only once a day though)

How many bunnies have you killed?

I'm really not sure why, but the game does track this! I've killed 3 or 4 so far. They're not that common, and they're quick... I just realized I've killed more dragons than bunnies.

Today I chased a snow fox, trying to kill it with an arrow (that thing is hard to aim at a moving target!), killed a widow in her secluded tower (I didn't realize she was just a widow by herself. In my defense she started throwing fireballs at me...well, I don't remember who shot first actually...) and was attacked by fish. Totally just wandered around Skyrim. Practiced dual wielding weapons and spells and totally just killed time. A fun night in Skyrim!

I have a feeling I'll be writing about this game a lot lol.

I'm really impressed by the physics in this game! Maybe it's standard now, I haven't played a "new" game in a while, but the water is just amazing. Rivers have actual flow, that will pull you along. Swimming with the flow will move you faster, swimming against it slows you down.

Randomly, in the middle of nowhere I saw a cart (like what you'd hook up to a horse or ox) just bobbing along a river, slowly moving towards a waterfall. I helped push it along and watched it fall down the waterfall, then got swept down as well. The cart was still just bobbing down the river. I know it's just random, but I found it amusing :)
