If you're not yet drowning in movie and TV show news, particularly ones premiering on streaming services, here's a new one for you. Marvel's MODOK will appear on HULU on May 21. MODOK stands for Mental Organism Designed Only for Killing, so expect plenty of carnage. I'm not familiar with this character, so I don't have much to say about it. I did notice that MODOK is voiced by Patton Oswalt, who I've now seen in different Marvel and Star Wars related things. He was a part of S.H.I.E.L.D., in fact doubling or even tripling himself, it was cool. I like that someone who's obviously a fan of Marvel and Star Wars gets to be a part of those things. If you really want to see... Read All

The movie news just keeps pouring in. Beavis and Butt-Head have just announced a new movie on Paramount+ and they haven't aged a day since they made their introduction to the world.

I've been a long time fan of Beavis and Butt-Head. In fact, I recently found my Beavis and Butt-Head "Frog Baseball" shirt. I remember wearing it the one and only time I tried skiing, which failed miserably. I watched MTV all the time during their reign. Ya know, back when MTV actually showed music videos. Back then, I would often get disappointed seeing the same episodes repeat. They made a comeback, but this time without music videos and I think that "sucked!" This might be interesting,... Read All

A teaser trailer for Spider-Man, with the name announcement!

I absolutely love the Sony/Marvel Spider-Man, and I can't wait for Christmas! Hopefully we'll all be vaccinated by then!

It's been a long time since I've seriously played No Man's Sky. I mostly played it around it's launch and not too much after. It's received a lot of updates since then, so there's a lot of content I've not yet explored. Well, it looks like NMS is "the gift that keeps on giving." A new trailer has been released showing off the Companions update and honestly, I think it looks great. Maybe it's because I've always loved animals. Maybe it's the high quality of the video that impressed me, I'm not sure, but it looks cool!

From what I read on Steam, it seems that this is now in the game (I don't have it installed, so I wasn't sure until I did some more reading). That same... Read All

It looks as though the Mortal Kombat movie is getting a reboot and there's a new trailer for it. It looks better than the movie we got in 1995, but seeing as how that was nearly 20 years ago, that shouldn't be a surprise. I enjoyed that one (that theme song was awesome, I thought) and the follow up Annihilation we got two years later, but they were pretty "campy" (I guess that's the right term for it).

Check it out and let me know what you think. Seeing this makes me want to play the games more, but I also remember how much they've kicked my ass. To me, MK is definitely a... Read All

One of the biggest news items out of Blizzcon 2021 Online was that Blizzard would release a Diablo II remaster called Diablo II: Resurrected. Featuring a full 3D reskin of the game alongside the original pixel version with a modern online Battle.net offering featuring cross platform progression this looks like it could be on the biggest gaming releases of this year! Currently, it's not easy to play Diablo II as it requires you to install the game and install a handful of mods and hacks to play it on modern systems. One great part of modern gaming is keeping old games fresh for new audiences and remasters are a big part of that. Hopefully Blizzard can dial this... Read All

Blizzcon 2021 Online is going strong and hot off the keynote is the news of the Blizzard Arcade Collection release available today on PC, XBox, Playstation and Switch. The Blizzard Arcade Collection features old school classic Blizzard titles such as Blackthorne, Rock & Roll Racing and The Lost Vikings for $20. If you have yet to play these games this seems like the best way to relive them and they are coming home to consoles which is a solid plan considering that's how they were first released.

You can buy the Blizzard Arcade Collection today on PC as part of the Blizzard Celebration pack for $20 alongside a bunch of other DLC for Blizzard games.

Rage is a very hefty feeling but there is no need to be angry while you play it. I paid full price for Rage 2 at launch and I loved every minute of playing it but I could see a world where some people might play games angry after paying full price. If you see red after paying for things you are in luck because Rage 2 is entirely free on the Epic Games PC Store until Feb 25th. While you are there saving yourself a few bucks you can also get Absolute Drift for free too. I have no experience playing Absolute Drift but if my growing backlog is an indicator, I never will but will lament the fact I haven't.

Might not come as a huge surprise to anyone but I picked up Super Mario 3D World on Switch and have been enjoying it quite a bit. I've heard some folks online say that it's a bit on the easy side as a single player game and I get that. That said, I haven't found it to be that easy myself as I've been playing it co-op with a rather energetic four year old. I love the little guy but he's not great at platforming such that he dies a lot and MUST always be the first to get "the kitty suit." So yeah, it's fun playing Mario with your kids but playing Mario co-op with little kids might be the Dark Souls of trying to have fun playing video games sometimes. Let this scenario... Read All

During the Nintendo Direct today there was much in the way of interesting news from Nintendo and one such piece was that Skyward Sword was getting a re-release on Switch coming July 16th. Looks like Nintendo is honoring the legacy motion controls in Switch form but also creating a button only control scheme that many players have been asking for.

Join Link in his high-flying quest to save Zelda, a childhood friend who must confront her destiny. Soar between floating islands and descend to the treacherous surface world in this updated HD version of the Legend of Zelda:... Read All
