If you somehow missed BioShock, BioShock 2 and BioShock Infinite they are all coming out soon in one remastered collection featuring some really impressive looking graphical updates you can see featured in the video embedded above. The trailer focuses more on the graphical updates to the original BioShock as I imagine there are few changes they made, if any, to BioShock Infinite.
As 2K mentioned before if you own any of the aforementioned games you will be able to upgrade on Steam for free on September 13th.

I seriously recommend BioShock Infinite. Maybe it suffers some to the end compared the absolutely amazing pacing of the start to middle but I found the whole experience to be well worth it. The two DLC expansions were great too and they really seemed to just be a continuation of the story of Infinite anyway.
Bioshock 2 wasn't received well. The story is okay, but the gunplay was better than the first. Infinite found a great medium (I should hope so after the Dev hell it was in for so long). Personally, Infinite was my favorite. I love Booker and his story. I love the way they implemented everything and successfully incorporated the huge plot twist/reveal. I like how they ended it, and I loved how the DLC's tied the entire series together, back to the first game.

I might wait for the price to drop on the bundle. I know you are getting a lot for $59.99, but it still seems like a lot. Plus I have a ton of other games to play.
If you have them on PC you will get the upgrades for free, so that might help.

Like Travis said, you get some amount of this free if you already own the games previously. PLUS the price for this will go down considerably over time, like with all games. I'm waiting on lots of games to drop price before I buy them. Pretty sure that's how i'll buy most of my games from here on out. Bundles or huge savings unless it's a game I need to have on launch which seems to be becoming less and less.

I am in the same boat. To me gaming has reached a point where a lot of games made today will still feel fresh tomorrow.

And more stable, etc. I bet by the time I get around to playing No Man's Sky mostly all the issues will be worked out
I finally actually checked out the comparison video. It's nothing groundbreaking but it's quite nice. Everything just looks a bit sharper and has better lighting. I imagine they're using the console footage on Bioshock for comparison. It looked lower res in the comparison video, but you could run it in 1080p on PC.
Still, I'm looking forward to seeing the shiny coat of paint!
So, not sure if you use the Tracker or not, but it's great for a UI and tracking your deck list. Tracking wins/losses with decks, and many little features (yogg or Cthun counters).
It can keep your matches AND it's not the normal game you'd view, it's a digital recreation. BUT IT LETS YOU SEE YOUR OPP!!!!

Wow, this is really cool and the rewatching matches is incredible. I found that match a bit hard to follow at times but I figured it out as it went along.
When people bring out Lord Jaraxxus that's usually pretty hard to come back from but you tempo'd well.
Yeah, I need to look at my capabilities a little more, I could have saved that polymorph boar for my guy for an extra 4 damage... but then, I wanted that 6 butt to turn into 2 so it would absorb less from the flamewalker, so I think maybe I was still right. That equated to 4 dmg.
I was pretty happy when I finally opened my second shield slam and pyromancer in my latest brawl open I recently crafted my first Rag, which is awesome I Rag so much. But i've been on a Legendary drought recently.
I dusted the normals, those are 2 I'm REALLY happy to have in gold. I need Sylvannas gold next. I had about 6k dust after and could have got her... but crafting golds is ugggg. I've done Ysera and Confessor... so spendy.
I've got just about enough to do either golden N'Zoth or 2 golden Cabilist's Tomes. Hard decision... or use to make a golden leggie that you can't open (like the new one that summons a 1/1 of a guy from your deck)
PS, I just survived 3 Yogg's being used against me. I dropped to 1 health and he had a couple mage secrets up, but one wasn't ice block.... insane game
Oh, I used Anyfin pretty successfully a while back, was brutal One hit kill type thing. (just using the haste and buff murlocs) But now that "standard" is a thing, it banned out some of the needed ones.
Yeah, it has but one or two Anyfin's are really powerful. I had a crazy match with simply playing 2 blugills and 2 warleaders. Still refining the deck though but it's either won or only lost by a handful of HP on the opponents side.
Yeah Yogg is a heavy RNG card. One of the reasons I want to and don't want to craft it. Focusing more on the other legendary staples before I get Yogg. Not sure what to do next. Tyrion or maybe Cairne? I am leaning heavily to Tyrion as I like Paladin and Tyrion is OP as hell.
That's what they've said. Which is why I am now crafting all the neutral legendaries. I have nearly all the WoTG one's I really wanted and I am now crafting neutral ones because i'll be able to use them longer.
Ya I finally crafted Cairne myself. Frustrating tho, because I made a new account so I could get the shaman hero and I happened to get a Cairne on that account =\
I just went through and decrafted a ton of Wild cards. I kept ones I'd use if I ever played Wild, but I decrafted a bunch of legends, epics and gold epics, gold rares. There's a golden iron juggernaut I'm debating on, but I liked that card... 1600 dust tho gives me 2 gold rares or a gold epic, so tempting... My mage deck is almost all gold, just need 6 more golden epics =o
I am keeping all the wild cards. I think it's going to be a more compelling format as the game advances and might be really interesting someday. At least I think so. That said, pretty sure Maxxena won't ever be something I put in a deck but since it was one of the first legendaries I had and used a lot because of that, I have a hard time letting it go
Still finishing up watching a handful of SGDQ 2016 run and I wanted to share this extremely interesting Donkey Kong Country run. Eazinn shows off some really crazy ability as he continuously uses extended barrel rolls to make jumps I didn't know were possible. I also didn't know from playing it originally but there are quite a few level warps in Donkey Kong Country that allow you to skip entire level sections.

That said I've really enjoyed Nova Covert Ops and recently completed playing the second set of missions.
How Is Nova Covert Ops Pack 2?
After completing the second 3 missions I can say that Blizzard is quickly building up the fun and story of Covert Ops to something really great. I don't want to give anything away but the ending of the latest 3 missions leaves you on a cliffhanger I can't wait to see resolved. I was wondering if they would keep the same high quality story telling that we've come to expect from StarCraft and minus a couple of odd moments, I found it to be pretty engaging. I enjoyed the cinematography and the in game engine cut scenes between each mission look incredible on my new nvidia graphics card.
Needless to say if you love StarCraft getting Nova Covert Ops is a must.
What is the Long Term Future of StarCraft II?
I might break this topic out into a larger post because I have the same question for other Blizzard games like Diablo III but.. where is the long term roadmap for StarCraft II? Originally they wanted to tell an epic story that spanned the Terran, Zerg and Protoss and it was wrapped up neatly in Legacy of the Void. They left some stuff on the table for future games and we are working some of that out now with Nova CovertOps but I'm not all sure when the StarCraft II train will come to an end? Don't get me wrong, I want more content and if they decided to do a bunch more DLC missions or another full expansion I'd totally get it. I'm just not sure what to expect or if StarCraft III is around the corner?
I also have the same question for Diablo III and I've heard rumors they scrapped a full expansion and released it piecemeal as patch updates as we've seen with certain zones such as Greyhallow Island and the Ruins of Sescheron. Again I might break this topic out into it's own post but it's just something I've been thinking about.
I Just Realized Nova's Suit Design Is Ridiculous
I really like Nova's character and personality, I just find her suit design to be kind of laughable. Here is an image to look at for reference.
When I see her all I can think is "hubcab boobs." Now I'm not offended by this or that and her suit isn't rage inducing I just find it ridiculous. Like that's a suit that grants Nova invisibility right? So what d actually do? It's like someone asked the question "what if we put the bra on the outside, would that make invisibility work better?" If it's some kind of armor then it's really out of place at it leaves her mid section entirely unprotected. Again, i'm not saying we should censor anything or that I want to destroy games or whatever, I just think the outside space bra is odd.

I still haven't played the first mission pack. I might wait until the last one comes out and then play them.
I'm not sure about the future of StarCraft II either, it seems pretty wrapped up to me.
As for Diablo III, I haven't played in a while, so there's quite a bit of new content in patch releases I've missed out on. I'd love to see more though, I've really enjoyed playing it.
I see your point about Nova's suit, still she's hot. She not as hot as Zero Suit Samus though. LOL

Bethesda shared the full trailer for Nuka World today! The pieces are definitely there for a fun romp in a destroyed theme park, and it looks like there are new mechanics that allow you to turn settlements over to the raiders, giving people an evil option for settlement building.
If it's anything like Far Harbor in terms of size, scope, and fun, I'll be in love!
Pay attention to the lyrics in the theme song, especially toward the end. It's at least mildly amusing :)

I still don't think VR is something I'm going to invest money in, but I love that developers are taking it further and further along. Now that I'm thinking about it, it seems like No Man's Sky would be a good candidate for VR... oh dude, I just remembered that my tv can take a 2D image and make it 3D. Yeah, No Man's Sky would be a good candidate. I love my Vive purchase. VR is really cool. Two things that I would love to see in the future is wireless headsets and better screens.
Some people have dug into the No Man's Sky game files and have found indications that they've tinkered with VR. It may have been an abandoned idea and may never come to pass, but it may indicate future VR support.

As blizzard was releasing the information on the new adventure cards the community reacted very strongly to a new Priest card many felt was the worst card in Hearthstone, Purify. I'll link to the card below with a video Kripparian made that discusses the card.
After Blizzard saw the absolutely intense community backlash they apologized and removed the card from Arena play. Ben Brode, lead Hearthstone designer promised Priest would get more attention in upcoming expansions and now that the Adventure has finally released the community backlash seems to have died down. The Purify card is still being released in the adventure and will show up in constructed play, but Blizzard has removed it from showing up in Arena.
I think it's important to note the community run up to the Adventure launch because I don't I've seen the community rally around something quite like this. It's also nice to see Blizzard let us know Priest is getting some attention. As with previous adventures Blizzard is releasing One Night in Karazhan one tier at a time and this week we all got to play the latest wing this week.
The Prologue Price Is Right
One Night in Karazhan differs from other Adventures in that Blizzard is making the prologue available to everyone for free. The prologue mission is an introduction mission that introduces the story and characters. It's a fun mission where you play as young Medivh preparing for a party as he is visited by a demon prince that wants to attend. Medivh comes with his own deck, which is an overpowered Mage masterpiece that is well balanced to the overpowered Demon deck you are playing against. If you can combo out the right cards you can destroy your opponent with some insane damage combos making for a really epic battle.
The Parlor Kicks Off The Adventure
The Parlor is a fun first wing to Karazhan but by the time I completed it I wanted more. The first wing cards you unlock have already changed the Hearthstone meta game but I expect many more changes to come with the rest of the cards unlocked. The Legendary you get for completing the first wing is Moroes which is a 1/1 for 3 that has permanent stealth and at the end of your turn summons a 1/1 steward. It's a fun effect that can combo well with Paladin and I am trying to work it into some of my existing decks.
More Nights in Karazhan Plz Blizz
So far I really like the adventure and hopefully the rest turns out to just as good story and gameplay wise as the first tier. Blizzard is saving some of the better cards for later so when those tiers drop it will be interesting to see the new decks that use them.

You start the game with a deck of 30 cards and 20 life and the goal is to defeat the opponent by reducing their life to 0. You need to summon minions, use spells and other tricks to gain board control and defeating your opponent requires you to use strategic land and minion placement.
Faeria Is For Players Frustrated With The Hearthstone Grind
Faeria improves on Hearthstone's free to play grind by doing two things. Firstly it's easier to grind your daily quests for gold. Many of the quests are play to win, which means regardless of if you win or lose you can get usually get your daily gold. Also, you can skip the grind entirely and pay $50 to unlock the entire card set. So either play the game for free to win gold to open packs OR simply pay $50 to unlock all the current set of all cards. I really like this model as I don't honestly mind grinding to open packs and so far, haven't found that to be a bad way to go. Sure lots of people have better decks but I am winning a bit less than half the time and sometimes I have the enemy down to a couple health before they eek out a win. I'm OK with these odds as I've only played about 5 hours and I still haven't unlocked all the basic cards in story mode yet. I imagine i'll get better over time as I unlock more so the free to play grind seems to work for me.
Faeria Ditches RNG In Favor of Mostly Pure Strategy
With any card game you have the random element of drawing the right cards at first but if you play Hearthstone you know it's much more random than getting the right cards. Faeria drops all the random elements from individual card mechanics and features a very strategic experience. The game seems more like a refined game of chess than the often frantic and hilariously frenzied Hearthstone matches I've played. I really like both styles of games but if you want to play a game that's more strategic Faeria is for you.
How Do I Play Faeria?
Currently you have to buy into Faeria early access for $25 but if you wait till August 24th the game will go free to play for everyone. Currently Faeria is on Windows and Mac but the developers have plans to bring the game to Linux, XBOne, iOS, PS4 and Android.
If you are looking for a new digital card game and find the typical grind to be no fun at all Faeria might be something you should try .

Does it have a single player mode? If so, is it bigger than Hearthstone's? My disappointment with Heartstone was that it's almost strictly PVP. The video (in your post) looks good, I like the animations and card designs (which I think look a lot like Hearthstone cards). I'm not too sure about the actual game play, it may be something I'd have to try out that I might perhaps enjoy.

> Does it have a single player mode?
Yes. It has 5 prologue missions that get you acclimated to the game and grant you the basic cards. Then you have the 3 different color mission sets in Red, Green and Yellow. Each mission set grants you the basic cards for that color and is pretty fun/challenging on their own. As you play them you learn the game more and it's all pretty cool.
They are going to add more single player content when the game goes Free to Play in August.
"With every big version release comes important features, and v0.8 will be no exception. Brand new single player content will be added to the game for the first time since Early Access launched. "Solo" mode will grow from being an important but small part of the game to becoming a full blown single player experience. It will not only help new players learn how to play Faeria, but offer a variety of challenging scenarios to complete. We aim to have around 20 hours of solid single player content to begin with, and plan to steadily increase that amount over the coming months and years."
Looks like the game might have some kind of story campaign or something, which should be really cool.

I like it. It's definitely a lot like Hearthstone and Magic: The Gathering, but a different game on it's own. I think if someone likes one or both of those games, they should definitely give this one a try, especially since it's now Free-to-Play, there's nothing to lose.
I can't quite decide if I like it better than those other two games. One thing I like about it more than Hearthstone is it seems to have a much bigger and easier to access "Solo" mode. This is something I really wish Hearthstone would expand upon. A lot of Hearthstone's single player mode is locked and you have to pay for it either with real money or in-game currency, which you can get by doing dailies. The problem I have with dailies is that they often require you to win a few matches and Hearthstone's PVP style is pretty much the majority of the game, which is seriously brutal on my self-esteem or self-confidence.
I have an old '92 version of Magic: The Gathering that I really love. Unfortunately, it crashes a lot in Windows 10, but performs nearly flawlessly in a virtual machine that runs Windows XP. I have the 2012 MtG version for the PS3 and enjoyed it. There are many more versions available on Steam. So far, I've only downloaded their demos and played some of them. They're enjoyable and it's tempting to buy at least one of them.
Back to Faeria, I've definitely run into some bugs, so I need to remember to take screenshots so I can report them. The game does crash often. Still, it's fun. It's somewhat difficult to explain how it works, or how you play it, but it's not that difficult to play. Actually, so far it's been pretty easy, at least easier than Hearthstone. It does have it's challenges like Puzzle mode, although those haven't been extremely challenging yet. I think I also ran into an "Epic" quest, which I haven't been able to win yet.
Deck building seems somewhat different than I'm used to. it seems that you choose from categories instead of individual cards. Maybe you can choose them and I just haven't messed with it enough to figure that out yet.
I've pretty much stated my thoughts on it right now already. Although, I may still write a post about it, especially since we should let everyone know that it's now Free-to-Play and an enjoyable game.
I saw on the Steam forums that someone posted a topic that says something like, "stop trying to be Hearthstone." I think the developers should ignore that kind of thinking and continue with what their doing. I think it's different enough from Hearthstone to stand as it's own game. Again, I really wish Hearthstone would get influenced by this game and expand their single player game, at least by making it easier to access at least. Perhaps Heathstone could do that by including wins in it's "Practice" mode more often as dailies, that would make me happier and play it more often.

It does have much more single player content, which is really fun. It's difficult too, which is nice. They are going to release more so it will be interesting to see what that will be.
You can choose to select individual cards OR select by category/type if you don't want to pick individual cards.
The game really doesn't seem like Hearthstone to me but there are some card similarities which is pretty unavoidable I think.

I'm really enjoying it so far! I just hate the bugs, especially when it crashes. I've started taking screenshots and reporting them. I have one already, but I'm sure I'll collect more.
Thanks for the deck tip, I'll see if I can figure that out. I thought I got some card or cards that give health, I think I need those for the Epic Quest. I started using those Mountain cards like he (Seifer, the AI) is using. His creatures keep killing me because they deal damage to me when they do any combat, it's difficult. Also, I don't know what the numbers below the decks mean. I have a 3.0 deck and some 3.5 decks. I've tried tinkering around with some decks, using the categories so far.
Yeah there are card similarities. If this game gets to be more like Hearthstone that's cool with me as long as it adds to Solo Mode, I don't care about the PVP stuff.

Steam says I've played Faeria for 8 hours. Some of that time is minutes where I ran into issues. Immediately, I couldn't get in, it gave me some error like, "could not find steamid." Then I read on the forums that was due to the fact that they were doing maintenance. It was resolved quickly.
I'm enjoying it, but the frequent crashes suck. I've read others are getting the same error I've seen when they try to click "retry" on a puzzle match. The last one I did, I swore I won, but somehow it said no and therefore restarted, but gave me this error when it did that.
Anyway, I hope it gets resolved soon, so far I think it's a good game.

Wow, considering you've played an earlier version of the game than I have.
I think I'm going to see about looking up some deck building stuff. Most recently I pretty much went with all the red (mountain) stuff and included "Blessings" or one other codex. I think that number at the bottom of the deck is how strong it is, I'm not quite sure yet.

Yeah, it took me a bit to get enough cards and do well against the AI. I still lose but it's not as bad anymore but I had to cross a threshold for sure.

I have had a couple of Epic Quests and one Puzzle Quest on my Solo list. I'm not high enough in levels to do the Puzzle Quest and the Epic Quests were kicking my ass. However, I was finally able to defeat Aurora after the game gave me a new Daily, which was to play x number of yellow cards. So, I crafted a yellow deck and managed to beat her. Now I'm trying to beat the forest guy, I can't recall his name at the moment.

Yellow is my most played deck color right now. Apparently I love Aggro decks

:) I played it cool and patient at first and it worked out, but then the game stepped up its game, so I had to do the same.
I recently noticed an issue I've seen that others are having, too. One of my Dailies says something pretty much like "lure him out. Fight in Solo Mode until Seifer returns." I've done that, but the daily still shows. I thought I read that a recent patch fixed that though.

After 9 years of development the fan game Pokemon Uranium has finally launched with an amazing trailer. It's awesome to see these fan projects finally ship and this one looks exceptionally good. If you're a huge Pokemon fan that loved the GBA era Pokemon games this looks to be made just for you.
The site is getting crushed do to popularity of the game, so there are a couple download options below.

Interesting. None of those links are working, either. The first gives a 505 server error, the second says it can't be found or was deleted, and the third says too many people have tried to download it.
Yep, the Mega link could have been a cease and desist, Mega is pretty good about honoring those. Kim Dotcom doesn't want to go through that whole mess again!
With as quickly as Nintendo shut down the Metroid remake, I'm surprised they haven't (at least publicly) gone after this harder.

This is why all my pokemon fan fic is called pokamon. :)
Oh man, watching the video brings up good memories of the first game. I never tried the sequels.

To me gaming has reached a point where a lot of games made today will still feel fresh tomorrow.
> ... a lot of games made today will still feel fresh tomorrow.
This definitely makes me want to revisit the Bioshock universe! It'll be a good excuse to actually play through Bioshock 2.
