Sony is emailing today that there will be a "big announcement" about the PS4 at their E3 presentation. You can live stream it...

There is also a teaser trailer showing an out of focus black box...

The Speedrunner save/loads it for the best run through a particular area but that said, 30 minutes for Fallout 3 is pretty damn good. I think I spent more than 30 minutes in the vault alone.

See what I did there, with the word within words? I know... *sigh

The first time I got to play Card Hunter was at PAX Prime last year, and it was a polished treat. Turn-based, tactical RPG, designed as a board game, but played in your browser. It runs on Flash, and it's silky smooth. The team at Blue Manchu have been in closed beta since January this year, and are currently accepting beta applications.

I love the digitization of physical board games, but only when developed with great care. Card Hunter isn't a physical game (yet, I'm assuming), but it has that same tangible presence. The hand drawn, 3-Dimensional game pieces, and the pen & paper... Read All

**the above let's play spoils star trek into darkness accidentally. you have been warned**

I have been knee deep in some really cool Cheerful Ghost development that I am excited to demo in the next few days. I haven't been playing a lot of games because of that, but I still like to have one game on the back burner I take out a play when I have some time. Right now that game is Wizorb.

Wizorb is a really fun retro style 2D Breakout RPG. You play a Wizard on a quest to save Gerudo and to do that you use your Wizorb and paddle to vanquish evil. Its a really unique concept and for someone that hasn't ever been excited about Breakout, this game peaks my interest.

Kotaku released some very detailed images of Wolfenstein World Order. They look great and one image of a robot dog thing kind of reminds me of the mousers from Ninja Turtles, it might just be me though. :D

Crawl is a interesting and free new Minecraft meets Legend of Grimrock style game. You play a physician put into someone's mind to help treat trauma thus proving that geek minds really are a maze of dungeons.

Chucklefish is now publishing the new 2D sidescrolling rouge-like "Risk of Rain." Interesting to see the Starbound team take on the role of... Read All

I really like what Valve keeps doing with its games. Take for instance the new Team Fortress 2 update Robotic Boogaloo. After June 3rd when you play Team Fortress 2 you will get random crate drops. You can buy a key for $2.50 that will unlock it and reward you with various content created by the Robotic Boogaloo community artists. The revenue will be split amongst the artists and, I imagine Valve.

Its totally cool to see companies invent new ways to put money in artists hands and I applaud Valve for coming up with another way to do it. Checkout the Robotic Boogaloo site below and the "production drone" credits for whom participated in making it.

I'll admit, I am a sucker for free stuff. Not that free is always good mind you, but the price is right. Recently I stumbled across a game site that catalogs all the good free games on PC called Freeware Games. I wanted to share it with you because I had forgotten about some of the games on the list and I know some of you somewhat new to PC gaming and might want to try a few games on the list.

Some awesome games of notes:

Black Mesa(The Fan Recreation of the original Half-Life.), CaveStory, Super Mario Bros. X, Team Fortress 2, The Original Grand Theft Auto, DOTA 2, League of Legends, Dwarf Fortress, Lord of the Rings Online, Elder Scrolls II: Daggerfall & Kings... Read All

"As the economical crisis advances, the discontent of an entire population cannot help but outburst in Riots, where the sounds of many voices get heard at once. The Director Leonard Menchiari has been experiencing this form of protest in person, and the game "Riot" was born as a way to express it and to tell the stories of these fights. What is it that triggers such a strife? What does a cop feel during the conflict? In "Riot", the player will experience both sides of a fight in which there is no such thing as "victory" or "defeat"."

RIOT was a game funded on Indiegogo awhile back that I only just heard about recently. The game has the style of Sword & Sworcery... Read All

Click to embiggen the image above and take a look, then come back for more.

I want to preface this by saying that this is not intended to ridicule anyone. Please bear that in mind.

The image contains posts on the Super Metroid Miiverse page from quite a number of people who have gotten stuck in Super Metroid, mostly at the same place. I can clearly remember the wonder of playing this game the first time. It was my first Metroid game and when I got to this area I just assumed that I would come across something later that would let me get through.

These posts, however, show that things have changed. There was no NPC standing there telling them that this was blocked without... Read All

Eric Barone, creator of Stardew Valley just Tweeted that Stardew Valley was Greenlit on Steam. Now the upcoming 2D Community Retro Farming Sim will be coming to a familiar platform.

He also dropped a bit of a status update on the games progress as well:

"Still in dev, but I am on a grind to get this game finished, without skimping on anything. I'll let u know soon as I can about release date!"

From the recent Twitch streams I have seen the game looks incredible and am really looking forward to its eventual release. Thanks to everyone that voted.
