Heard good things about the majority of games in this bundle. Hotline Miami in particular looks good and I have wanted to try Awesomenauts for quite some time.
You going to pick this one up? Charity, Steam Keys, whats not to love?
I literally just got done purchasing this when I saw this post. Already had awesomenauts and little inferno but I really wanted to try capsized and Thomas was Alone.
Really great bundle this time. I'm thinkin' some cheerful ghost awesomenauts sounds preeetty great.

I had a lot of fun with little inferno. It is a pretty quick game though. I beat it in about 3 hours but you might get some more playtime if you try to get all the secret combinations. Just something to keep in mind.
Just played the demo and really liked it so far. Soundtrack is amazing too. It's available for pre-order on steam.

This may not be new to a few Final Fantasy IX players, but to nearly everyone, this is an undiscovered sidequest that was just unearthed yesterday.
It requires a lot of obscure stuff to have happened before you can get everything, and most people won't even check after the first couple.
From the video description:
"This is a side quest on disc 4 that was unknown to most FFIX players until yesterday when a topic popped up on the FFIX message board at GameFAQs. It was discovered by The_Kusabi_ (through the Ultimania guide) and confirmed by MysterPixel. Naturally, I had to check it out and I decided to record a video.

If you go to the Tantalus hideout at the beginning of disc 4, you will find Zenero and Benero wondering where Marcus and Cinna are. You've likely seen this before, but this is actually the beginning of a side quest. Now, head to Memoria and proceed until you watch a cut-scene or fight a boss. Then head back to the hideout to find Genero wondering where Benero and Zenero are. Then repear this process seven more times and every time you go back to the hideout, you will find a new member of the family. The last five are girls and the final one seems to be a child, as she is really small. Once you talk to her, Zidane will comment on the huge family and you will now find a new chest containing a Protect Ring inside the hideout. The next time you come back, the quest will simply start over, but there's not enough events to complete it twice. These are the events that move the quest forwards:
1. The beginning of Disc 4. 2. The battle with Nova Dragon. 3. The battle with Maliris. 4. The flashback of Alexander. 5. The scene where Zidane talks to himself. 6. The flashback of Dagger on the boat. 7. The scene with the giant eye in the sky. 8. The battle with Tiamat. 9. The scene with the two planets colliding. 10. The scene where Quina thinks he/she is drowning. 11. The scene where Garland talks about memories. 12. The battle with Kraken. 13. The scene about Gaia's birth. 14. The battle with Lich. 15. The scene where Garland talks about the beginning and the Crystal. 16. The scene where the party enters the Crystal World. 17. The battle with Deathguise.
It's no surprise people have missed out on this, considering how obscure it is. It also makes an Excalibur II Perfect Game more complicated. New things are discovered in old games all the time, but it's usually glitches or obscure tricks. This time, we got a whole new side quest, a treasure chest and seven characters! Needless to say, my mind is blown."

Because this is a game that has been on my radar for sometime, I am also trying something new with the Cheerful Ghost Event System. I added the Scrolls launch date to the event system. I figure this will be a good way for us to keep track of all the cool new games that will be coming out and serve as another avenue for us to be connected to stuff that interests us. So if you are interested in Scrolls and want to put the release date in your calendar like I do(I put all interesting release dates in my calendar) then head over and join the launch event!
If there is a game launch date you want in the event system, feel free to add it. I am also thinking of adding events for upcoming Playstation, Nintendo, Sony and Valve live conference streams as well as anything else that may be of interest to us all.
Instead of make a post per game update, I decided to condense them into one super post. This post covers updates for Terraria 1.2, Stardew Valley, Secrets of Grindea and Starbound. So lets hit it, shall we?

YouTube sensation ChippyGaming released the above Terraria 1.2 video featuring some new armor and dyes. He has access to the Terraria 1.2 beta and was planning on doing a series of spoiler videos, but due to some unfortunate communication with ReLogic, was only able to post the one video.

stardew valley dungeon crawling update
ConcernedApe posted a new update on Stardew Valley showing off some of the cave exploration parts of the game.
"As you explore the mines, you might encounter a dungeon entrance. If you can make it through in one piece, you might just leave with a pocketful of golden souvenirs. These dungeons are procedurally generated to keep things fresh. They are also totally optional for those who prefer to avoid combat!"
The post also goes into some of what you can expect in the mines and the new mine elevator for quick traveling the levels.
"This week, we have finished up one of the last enemy designs for the Winterland. As of now we call them Frostlings! They are agile little creatures with a taste for mischief. Avoiding to get hit and blocking are preferred when fighting these little trouble makers since they have a habit of stealing gold from Collectors venturing through the Winterland! If they nab some of your cash, youâll have to whack them with something hard before they escape with your life savings."
The Grindea devs are also showcasing some new features for puzzles that take elements from Braid in its rewind system.
Starbound is implementing the chat system a bit differently than most multiplayer games in that speech will appear in a bubble above your players head. This is pretty neat, but I a wonder how you will handle chat with everyone on the server when you are not in close proximity to them? That said, if you are interested in how the speech bubbles will look and were interested in some very dry Starbound jokes, head over to the post and watch the video.
Mercenary Kings is a neat looking Metal Slug styled shooter that was funded on Kickstart last year I totally missed. The game is being made by Tribute, the awesome team that brought us Wizorb and is currently in the closed Steam beta for Kickstarter backers.
The video above shows off the shooting, missions and crafting that makes Mercenary Kings unique. The game also boasts 4 player local co-op something I plan on trying out with my friends.

I picked it up the Metal Slug anthology on the Wii and whereas the games are awesome, the translation and controls were not. Getting a __GREAT__ version of this awesome style of game on PC is very interesting to me.
According to Tribute, the game will initially come to PC followed by a Mac and Ouya port. They did say that a Linux port is possible and would be released on Steam if it was made.
When a formal release date is announced, I will let you know.

After Microsoft's XBox One reveal, it seems Sony is pushing the Playstation 4 efforts in a very different direction. Sony released a interview with indie developer Jonathan Blow(of the Braid fame) about his new game that will debut on the Playstation 4 called The Witness. Instead of focusing on TV, movies and sports, Sony seems to be focusing on games and indie developers.
Still unsure if I will pickup a Playstation 4, but so far Sony is pushing this a bit closer to my style.
In the video Jonathan talks about being an indie developer and that he can pick what games he wants to create. He talks a bit about The Witness and there is some video showing it off. Whenever I... Read All

I agree with that feeling of Myst nostalgia. Really looking forward to this game. To be honest, I haven't been super thrilled with even the idea of any of the console systems coming out, but I do find myself here and there fantasizing about the possibilities of the Ps4. Granted, we don't know much about what will be in front of us this Fall. I think it's an element of hope that I can still cling to with Sony. Something like that.

I agree. At least out of the remaining consoles, Sony is the most interesting to me too. Until more comes out about the Steambox whenever that ships.

If an actual release date is announced, no further entries will be allowed. While an official release date is not a guarantee of when the release will happen, it certainly gives you some significant hints.
When the update is available, whoever guessed the closest wins!
In the event of a tie, say Player 1 picks January 2, Player 2 picks January 6, and the actual release was January 4, whoever guessed the earlier of the two dates wins. Think of The Price is Right, only not as strict. You won't get punished for going over unless someone went the exact amount of time under.
Now go forth and pick a date!

It's a win, because I made a trophy AND SOMEONE IS GONNA GET IT DAMMIT! I mean, it does look really neat. After I film the CG roundtable, i'll hit you up with it.
But yeah, they are way over the original release zone. Still, be fun to play the new content in October.
I was really bummed if something happened and someone couldn't win that trophy, it's really cool. I might do some limited edition trophies for the next Terraria server if there is interest.
Going to grab it. I have about half the games but not all. I see some Awesomenauts in our future. :)
It's also separate steam keys for each game this time...

CG awesomenauts would be fun.
Hotline Miami is worth it alone. I may just pick it up for little inferno.

I had to get it. 3 games I've been wanting, Dear Ester, Proteus, and Little Inferno!
The new Humble Weekly Sale is pretty cool too.

So many great games for so cheap.
